Thanks for stopping by, here is the things that are changing.
Now it is nothing to drastic so you can all take a breath. I have noticed a few things which I think need to be changed in the way I show my little arty bubble of a world. For instance how many of you actually realise what my business name is about?? Yeah I thought as much, probably not many, if any of you unless you know me personally that is. Firstly you may notice that the word 'Ellse' in my title is misspelt ... this was defiantly intended as it is my grandmas pet name that my grandad used for her as her name was Elsie. Secondly the full name of my business 'Little Something Ellse' this is named as I love doing all sorts of different art and trying new things. I make anything and everything from notebooks and stickers to rag dolls, canvas paintings and resin work. My head is constantly bubbling over with new ideas so I love to try a 'little something ellse' here and there. It is random like me, I don't make sence even to myself so it is a perfect description of me and what I do as it is always something else!

My new little profile picture which I drew is the first thing, what do we think?
Which profile picture did you prefer?
The old profile drawing?
New and colourful me?
So I was looking over by business and what I show you lovely lot ... and in all honesty it needs changing up a bit. Some things work well and other things not so well. I am a very honest person and I am not scared to admit when something is not working and take a step in another direction. In my opinion if you keep going and going at something which isn't working you are just wasting your own time and sanity a lot of the time. So what else is changing here I hear you ask?
Events
Now don't worry I will still be showing myself at events as again if I am honest ... I love meeting people and having chats with you all when I come to events. It is also a great way to judge my market to see what people like and don't like. If I am behind a laptop all the time I can't see if there is interest in something but it is not quiet right, I just see something not doing well and don't know why. But, at an event I can see people paying attention to things but not buying ... I can also possibly have a conversation with that person as to what they are looking for. So I will still be doing events but they will be more targeted to the type of customer base that is more interested in what I make and sell. So a lot of the smaller church hall / school hall type events will not just be attended by me on blind faith.
Anything Else changing?
Yes, actually seeing as your asking lol. You may start to see things changing over on my social media and on here too. I have been chatting to the lovely Emily Harvey Art about my business and things that are not working to the best they maybe could. If you like the kind of content that an independent seller who loves stationery and sharing her working on her business and the trials and tribulations that go along with that then seriously go and check her out too. I love watching studio vlogs and day in the life of (which is what I am looking at bringing in the future) but she has a youtube and is already doing all that good stuff!
Oooooo and lastly I am going be posting about an event which is upcoming for me! Yes its that time again ... Stationery Fest in Manchester. Eeeeeek! Cant wait and starting to make some new products for this event even though it is not until July. I am gonna be releasing some new budgeting stationery and I am sooooo excited about it. Head here to find out more and get a ticket to the event on 28th July 2024 in Manchester Central.
Dont forget also, if you like this sort of content I have a newsletter to sign up for ... no spam I promise just occasional emails from me talking about life and my arty bubble business. If you want more like this and some exclusive discounts (ssssh) then click here and get signed up to my free inner circle!
